Terms of Service
Last Updated: December 18, 2025
Plain English Summary: Use StoreSafe responsibly. You own your data (it's in YOUR Google Drive). We provide the backup service; you're responsible for your store and the data you back up. Pay for the subscription, don't abuse the system, and we'll keep things running smoothly.
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and StoreSafe ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") governing your access to and use of the StoreSafe application and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By installing, accessing, or using StoreSafe, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
StoreSafe is a Shopify application that enables you to:
- Create automated and on-demand backups of supported Shopify datasets
- Upload completed backup files to your connected Google Drive account
- Restore supported datasets from previous backups
- Export supported datasets in available formats
The Service operates on a "Bring Your Own Storage" (BYOS) model. Completed backup files are uploaded to your connected Google Drive account. StoreSafe workers transiently process data to provide the Service and retain operational metadata, but do not retain a separate vendor-hosted backup-file copy.
Coverage depends on Shopify scopes, API windows, supported datasets, and your available Google Drive quota and retention controls. Standard Shopify order access normally covers the latest 60 days.
3. Eligibility
